Sexiest Swimsuit For Your Body Shape

Possibly the most important summer essential, is a flattering swimsuit which makes you feel like a superstar. With the wide array of styles, cuts and colors that are available today, it can be difficult to find something which works for you. Never fear! We've compiled a sweet and simple guide for choosing swimwear for different body types:

FOR THE SMALL CHESTED
If you have a small upper half, you should gravitate towards swimwear which are top heavy. Embellishments like ruffles, fringe, bows, bold prints and sequins give the illusion of a fuller chest by adding volume. Don't be shy to experiment with extra padding either! If you're feeling sporty, try a racer back, which makes your shoulders seem broader. Alternatively, you could pick up a horizontally striped bikini, which instantly enlarges your chest. Added bonus? Stripes are super cute and perfectly on trend with the nautical vibe!

If you're feeling adventurous, think about slipping into a monokini with an interesting element like a metal ring in the center or a quirky print. This style is so dramatic in its own right that nobody will be paying attention to your bust!

AND THE NOT SO SMALL CHESTED
Ladies with big chests need all the extra support that they can get, so say no to skimpy styles like triangle bikini tops. Structured pieces with full cups or scoop necks are a good bet. A wide strapped, double stitched halter bikini secures your breast and makes your shoulders appear narrower. For added support, look for a bikini which has a wide band or an underwire below the bust.

Solid, dark tops in shades like black, navy blue and army green create a slimming effect and are sexy! You can also pair these with a more detailed bikini bottom which draws attention away from your top half.

HIDE THAT BELLY
Okay, so you haven't been following your gym routine like you said you would. Don't let that stop you from working it at the beach! Stay away from busy, printed pieces which tend to make you appear larger than you actually are.

Opt for a sleek one piece swimsuit or a tankini with ruched fabric in a solid, dark colour. A deep V-neck has a slimming effect and draws attention away from your belly. Try belting your one piece at the waist to create that beautiful, hourglass figure.

I WANT CURVES!
Unfortunately, not all of us are blessed with glorious curves, but don't you worry, we know the tricks of the trade. To create curves, you need to create volume. Look for detailed pieces with fringes, busy prints, ruffles, beads and the works. Avoid bandeau bikini tops, which may make the chest look flatter.

For bottoms, throw on a string bikini with ties at the side or a pair of cute boy shorts. Both of these styles highlight your hips and play up your curves. Experiment with light colours such as white, nude, peach and lemon yellow.

If you are a one piece kind of girl, make sure that you opt for high-cut legs to make your pins look longer and side cutouts to add some curvature.
